Rebecca Stratton with Metropolitan Endeavors was asked to participate as an ASID member in the 2010 Indianapolis Home Show.  Stratton was one of three local designers who were given the task of designing a 10' x 10' space to highlight a Ty Pennington console table.  "I wanted the space to be inviting and affordable for the average person," states Stratton.  Unlike the other two designers assigned the same task, Stratton went with a minimalistic approach and used light colors to give the space a fresh appeal to lure in the average homeowner.  She added a marble top to the Ty Pennington console table to enhance the design and demonstrate to potential purchasers the versatility of using different materials to achieve different look without a lot of expense.

Stratton explains, "With this economy, people are simplifying their environment.  They can't or don't want to spend their money on lots of 'stuff'."
